The Group is chaired by Dr Lim Cheok Peng, who was the Managing Director of IHH Healthcare Berhad and Vice Chairman of Parkway Pantai Limited. Dr. Lim is a cardiologist by training and sits on the board of several private companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, India and Turkey.

He served on various committees including the Parliamentary Committee for Health, Economic Review Committee, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Medical Council, the Council for the Third Age (Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports) and Singapore British Business Council.

He was a professional lecturer of Health Services Management & Leadership, The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services from August 2011 to June 2012. He was awarded the Singapore Medical Association Merit Award in 2013 for his significant contributions to the medical profession and social service in Singapore.

Admiral Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Dr. Ahmad Kamarulzaman Hj Ahmad Badaruddin (Retired) has served the King and country for 42 years,  He achieved a peak in his career as he assumed command of the 16th Royal Malaysian Navy Chief on 18 November 2015 before he effectively retired on 30 March 2019. During his tenure, Admiral Tan Sri Kamarul has been managing over 20,000 sailors with the annual operating and developing expenditure of about RM3 billion.

During his services, Admiral Kamarul transcending ideas on transformation and strategic management formulated the Royal Malaysian Navy’s 15to5 Transformation Program. This includes the Central Bank of Malaysia, Khazanah Nasional as well as several universities. Admiral Kamarul is also a regular regional and international speaker on Maritime Security, Innovation and Transformation in seminars and conferences such as ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting (ANCM) in Thailand, International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference Asia (IMDEX) in Singapore, International Seapower Symposium (ISS) in Rhode Island, USA and Ditchley Foundation Conference in the United Kingdom.

Due to his vast international exposure, He has been appointed as Board of Director in four public listed companies which are Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation (BHIC), T7 Global Berhad, OCR Group Berhad, TRC Synergy Berhad and other private companies in Malaysia.

In appreciation of his contribution and dedication, he has been bestowed with numerous local and foreign as well as academic recognitions. Among the notable are The Order of King Abdul aziz (Excellent Grade) from the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2017, the Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) from the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Order of Legion d’Honneur from the Government of France, Pingat Setia Mahkota (PSM) which carries the title ‘Tan Sri’ and Panglima Gagah Angkatan Tentera (PGAT) by His Majesty the King of Malaysia. He has been conferred two Honorary Doctorates (Management) from UNITAR International University and the University of Malaysia, Terengganu.

MR LOI TEK EIU

Mr. Loi Tek Eiu graduated with a Bachelor of Management (Finance & Accounting) from University Sains Malaysia. Since 2006, he is the Executive Director and holds 49% shares of Compugates International Limited, a subsidiary of Compugates Holdings Berhad.

He is also the Executive Director of Compugates International Limited Cambodia, Compugates International (BD) Limited, Compugates International (Bangladesh) Limited and President Director of PT Compugates International, Indonesia. Prior to that, he was an Independent Non-Executive Director of General Soil Engineering Holdings Berhad (Gensoil) and a member of its Nomination Committee.

Mr. Loi started his career as an auditor before venturing into his own businesses. Prior to the appointment to the Board of Gensoil, he was the General Manager of an asset management company licensed by Securities Commission.

DATO’ MARCUS DOH TEE LEONG

Dato’ Marcus Doh Tee Leong holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University, U.S. and has over 15 years of experience in the property development industry. 

 Currently, he serves as the Director of various companies under the Setia Awan Group which has expanded its footage into Property Development, Hotels and Resorts, Property Management and Plantations business.

MR NG TECK HUA

Mr. Ng Teck Hua holds Bachelor of Degree in Agribusiness from UPM in 1979. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry before venturing into property development sector. 

He joined Maybank in 1979 and thereafter served on various management positions in Maybank as Branch Manager, General Manager in Cambodia, Senior Vice President in Philippines, Perak Regional Manager and finally assuming the position of Executive Vice President.

In 2012, he joined the Setia Awan Group of Companies as Chief Operating Officer and was subsequently promoted to the role of Executive Director in 2016.

Kota Bharu Medical Centre (KBMC) is the first private specialist medical centre in Kelantan and situated at Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra, Lundang, Kota Bharu. The location provides easy access to and from Kota Bharu Medical Centre for patients and visitors to hotels and shopping malls around Kota Bharu. KBMC provides in-house various medical specialist service from medical to surgical based.

KBMC started its operations on December 14, 1997 after a soft launch by the Chairman and was later officiated by His Royal Highness the Sultan Ismail Petra Ibni Almarhum Sultan Yahya Petra on April 14, 1998. After more than 25 years of service, KBMC is looking expanding its hospital operation.
