Woo Winnie

Ms. Woo Winnie was appointed to the Board on 26 July 2019. She graduated with first-class honours in the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She has extensive experience in the area of Corporate Strategic Planning, Corporate Finance, Legal & Corporate Affairs, in IT, Telecommunication, Real Estate and Healthcare industry.

She started her career with Compugates International Ltd (a member of a public listed company on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia) in IT & Telecommunication division and eventually promoted to General Manager of the Group. She managed the daily operations of the local business units and was instrumental in driving the development of overseas business for the Group into countries that include Bangladesh, Cambodia and Indonesia and successfully achieve an all-time high annual revenue of USD$700million.

In 2016, she ventured into the Healthcare industry and was appointed as Group General Manager in Putra Group of Hospitals, overseeing the Corporate Office operations of the Group and spearheaded the merger and acquisition of Four (4) private medical centres. Her ability to drive the business of the Group thereby achieving with double digit annual growth rate was duly recognised and she was promoted to the role of Group Chief Operating Officer in 2022.

Hj Kahar Muhamed

 B.Soc.SC (Hons) ; MBA

Hj Kahar joined ICSB in 2021, where he managed and droved ICSB fund management, financing arrangement with financial institutions, and maintained close rapport with Bankers.

Prior to joining ICSB, Hj. Kahar served for almost 14 years as Vice President Treasury Services Columbia Asia Group of Companies (a multinational chain of hospitals)  having its hospitals in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and India. He managed and oversea cross-border Treasury Operations covers Fund raising activities, Financing arrangement for the group, fund investment, cash management and banking transactions.

He has earlier served as Head of International Trade Finance for a shared service centre operation – Scope International ( a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank Plc, UK). He is responsible for the efficient delivery of back-office trade finance, payment and custodian transactions for Standard Chartered Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Hj Kahar had over 20 years of banking experience covering various position such as Trade Finance Training Specialist, Branch Manager, Head of Trade Services Centre, Head of Project and Development for Trade Finance Operations for the then Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad and Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad (BCB) after the merger of Bank Bumiputra and Bank of Commerce. He was the driving force for the set-up of centralized trade finance operation at Bank Bumiputra and the integration of trade finance operation for the merged entity of BCB.

Kota Bharu Medical Centre

Kota Bharu Medical Centre (KBMC) is the first private specialist medical centre in Kelantan and situated at Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra, Lundang, Kota Bharu. The location provides easy access to and from Kota Bharu Medical Centre for patients and visitors to hotels and shopping malls around Kota Bharu. KBMC provides in-house various medical specialist service from medical to surgical based.

KBMC started its operations on December 14, 1997 after a soft launch by the Chairman and was later officiated by His Royal Highness the Sultan Ismail Petra Ibni Almarhum Sultan Yahya Petra on April 14, 1998. After more than 25 years of service, KBMC is looking expanding its hospital operation.
